OU Art Gallery Custom WordPress Theme

This was a custom WordPress theme developed for the Oakland University Art Gallery. The template allows the client to periodically add new upcoming exhibitions, keep a library of previous exhibitions, manage their vast collection of artwork, add new publications and schedule event listings for upcoming events at the gallery.  

I built this template using the FoundationPress framework as the base template and created a variety of custom WordPress widgets and custom post types to ensure that the client was able to manage this site efficiently for years to come. I worked with a designer on this project who was responsible for the wireframe/design.

During the pandemic a new "Virtual Exhibition" feature/template was added to enable users to visit virtually, see an example of a virtual exhibition here https://www.ouartgallery.org/exhibitions/moving-forward/.
